Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license issued by the state
- Previous experience providing physical therapy in a school setting
- Familiarity with IEP processes and specialized educational accommodations
- Solid communication and documentation skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to various student needs
- Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach
- Current CPR certification and up-to-date immunizations preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ physical therapy needs within the educational framework
- Develop and implement targeted PT interventions based on IEP goals
- Work closely with classroom staff, parents, and related service providers
- Support inclusion by promoting student participation in classroom and school activities
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and data for compliance purposes
- Participate in IEP meetings and on-site professional development opportunities
