Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution
- Valid SLP license or eligibility for licensure in Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply
- Experience providing SLP services in school or pediatric settings is highly valued
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Organizational skills to manage caseloads and document progress accurately
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students of varying ages
- Develop personalized therapy plans and deliver both individual and group interventions
- Monitor progress and maintain thorough, compliant records
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and social growth
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute recommendations
- Provide guidance and support for classroom teachers to promote collaborative strategies
