Desired Qualifications:

• Current New York State School Psychologist license (required)
• Strong understanding of assessment procedures, intervention strategies, and special education processes
• Demonstrated expertise in working with children and adolescents in educational settings

• Flexibility, adaptability, and commitment to supporting students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret evaluation data for students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with team members
• Provide direct counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support to students as needed
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student progress and intervention strategies
• Maintain timely documentation in compliance with state and district regulations
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and actively contribute to data-driven educational decision-making
