A reputable healthcare facility in New Berlin, WI, is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist with specialized experience in home infusion and sterile compounding. Responsibilities include verifying IV orders, preparing sterile IV medications in a clean room environment, and performing essential clinical duties to support patient treatment plans. The role requires vigilance and adherence to sterile compounding standards to guarantee the highest quality of care.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm
- On-call duties every 4th weekend and one night per week
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active and clear Wisconsin pharmacist license
- Minimum 2 years of recent sterile compounding experience, including IV preparation
- Recent experience in home infusion pharmacy preferred (2+ years)
- CPR certification is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong knowledge of clinical pharmacy practices and IV medication management
