Make an impact this school year supporting elementary-aged students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic educational environment near Ballston Spa, NY. This contract opportunity runs from September 8 through June 25, offering you the chance to work a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week with a positive school community.
Leverage your skills and expertise as you help students achieve their communication goals through a collaborative and supportive setting. This position is an excellent fit for experienced clinicians as well as recent graduates ready to begin a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active New York state SLP license or eligibility
- CCC-SLP or actively pursuing Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Passion for supporting diverse learners at the elementary level
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide direct SLP services for elementary students
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress and maximize successful outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation of student goals, sessions, and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise for students’ communication development
