Your expertise and advocacy will ensure students receive the individualized instruction and accommodations necessary for their academic and personal growth. You'll work closely with school staff, families, and other service providers to create accessible learning environments.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid, active teaching credential for Visually Impaired students
• Prior experience as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) preferred
• Familiarity with Braille instruction, assistive technology, and adapted curriculum
• Skilled at conducting assessments and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Passion for supporting diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to students with visual impairments across various grade levels
• Assist in developing and implementing IEPs
• Provide support and training in the use of Braille, technology, and accessible materials
• Consult with classroom teachers and support staff to modify lessons and environments
