Our client is seeking an
Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their growing accounting team. This individual will support high-volume cash application and accounts receivable functions while partnering with internal teams to resolve payment discrepancies and maintain accurate customer accounts. Must-Haves- 1+ year of Accounts Receivable or Cash Application experience
- High-volume cash application and payment posting
- NetSuite experience (required)
- Strong Excel skills
- Bank reconciliations
- Experience researching and resolving payment discrepancies
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Responsibilities- Apply customer payments received via ACH, checks, wire transfers, and credit cards.
- Process high-volume cash receipts with accuracy and timeliness.
- Research and resolve unapplied cash, short payments, overpayments, and other payment discrepancies.
- Perform customer account reconciliations and maintain accurate AR records.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash application reports.
- Reconcile bank and payment files.
- Respond to internal and external payment-related inquiries.
- Partner with Accounting and Customer Success teams to resolve outstanding issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
- Experience working in a deadline-driven, high-volume accounting environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining exceptional accuracy.
Pay Details: $26.00 to $29.00 per hour
