Summary: The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring hourly union employees for our facility. This position will require on-site presence to effectively manage the recruitment process and ensure a seamless candidate experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in high-volume recruiting with excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Sourcing and Recruitment:
· Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified hourly candidates.
· Utilize various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, employee referrals, and community partnerships.
· Conduct initial phone screens and in-person interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
Candidate Management:
· Maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for current and future openings.
· Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates.
· Provide timely and constructive feedback to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Onboarding:
· Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, including coordinating orientation sessions and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
· Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
Compliance and Reporting:
· Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions and recruitment metrics.
· Prepare and present regular reports on recruitment activities and outcomes.
Collaboration:
· Work closely with HR team members and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
· Participate in job fairs, community events, and other recruitment activities to promote the company and attract talent.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
· Minimum of 4 years of experience in high-volume recruiting, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
· Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and employment laws.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
