Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team. This position combines sit-down forklift operation with general warehouse responsibilities. Approximately 30% of the workday will be spent operating a sit-down forklift, while the remaining time will involve picking, packing, staging, and preparing customer orders for shipment. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities- Safely operate a sit-down forklift to transport inventory and materials (approximately 30% of the shift).
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage customer orders for shipment.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all warehouse safety procedures.
- Participate in daily pre-shift meetings and warehouse housekeeping activities.
- Wear required personal protective equipment, including steel-toed shoes.
- Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
- Previous sit-down forklift experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and performing physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a positive team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work the assigned schedule consistently.
- Must provide and wear steel-toed shoes while working in the warehouse.
- Competitive pay of $18.00 per hour
- Monday through Friday schedule with weekends off
