Job Title: Crane Operator
Job Description
This role involves safely operating 25–35 ton overhead cranes in a steel processing facility to move, load, and position steel coils and related products. You will handle material movement throughout the plant, support loading operations for trucks, railcars, and other vehicles, and work both independently and as part of a team in a clean, fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Work Environment
This position is based in a larger steel facility that has recently expanded and maintains clean, well-organized operations with a family-owned and operated feel. The work involves industrial manufacturing conditions with regular use of overhead cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment. Openings are available on 1st and 2nd shifts, with typical hours of 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for 1st shift and 4:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. for 2nd shift. The facility requires safety toe footwear, with metatarsal protection preferred, and proper manufacturing attire such as jeans, a t-shirt or hoodie. Hearing and eye protection are required, and a hard hat may be needed depending on the work area. The environment supports teamwork, safety, and consistent production in a modern steel-handling operation.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
