Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Florida SLP license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status accepted
- Experience in pediatric or adolescent populations, especially within school settings
- Knowledge of evidence-based assessment and intervention strategies
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative SLP services to high school students based on Individualized Education Plans (IEP)
- Conduct timely assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student needs
- Maintain detailed, compliant records for all speech-language services
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to special education decisions
- Employ creative, student-centered therapy approaches to maximize engagement and outcomes
