This school-based Physical Therapist position offers a full-time, onsite opportunity for the entire 2026-2027 academic year, running from September 9, 2026, through June 16, 2027. You’ll be working district-wide with a manageable caseload of 25-30 students, providing vital support that helps each student reach their fullest potential.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Washington State Physical Therapist license (or willingness to obtain)
- Completion of OSPI fingerprinting (or willingness to be fingerprinted)
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric physical therapy setting preferred
- Strong collaborative skills—ready to work with educators, families, and other professionals
- Comfort managing K-12 caseloads with diverse needs
- Commitment to onsite service delivery—remote or virtual work is not available
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive assessments, direct treatments, and consultative services to students across all grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, set goals, and track student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Educate school staff and families about strategies and accommodations that support student success
- Document services and maintain compliance with state, federal, and school district guidelines
