Qualifications & Experience:
- Current license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Washington
- Recent or previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting
- Solid grasp of individualized education programs (IEPs), goal writing, and documentation
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to providing inclusive, developmentally appropriate therapy and accommodations
- Strong organizational, time management, and adaptive skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students referred for PT services to determine needs and recommendations
- Develop and implement effective, personalized therapy interventions for students
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and update IEPs in collaboration with the team
- Participate in IEP meetings and consult with teachers and families to support student goals
- Provide staff training on positioning, mobility, and equipment as needed
- Contribute knowledge and energy to a positive school environment
