Key Qualifications:
- Active TX Speech Language Pathologist license is required
- Strong background in school, pediatric, or elementary SLP services
- Experience designing and implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) a plus
- Excellent communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech, language, and communication therapy to elementary-aged students
- Develop individualized treatment plans and track student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting for each student
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Offer education and resources to staff and parents as needed
