Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Active, unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an acute care Operating Room setting
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, sterile technique, and perioperative nursing best practices
- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
- Experience collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs
Core Responsibilities:
- Scrub and circulate for a variety of surgical procedures
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout perioperative phases
- Monitor vital signs, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate updates to the surgical team
- Uphold infection control standards and manage surgical equipment efficiently
- Support patient and family education before and after surgery
