Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This role offers an opportunity to work as a Staff Pharmacist in a dynamic retail setting, providing exceptional pharmaceutical services in a well-established environment. The position is contract to hire, offering 24-30 hours per week with a schedule designed to balance workload and flexibility.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Sunday: Emergency orders only, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (on-call)
- On-call pay at $8 per hour when responding on Sundays
Location:
- Granite City, IL
Responsibilities:
- Accurately fill, check, verify, and dispense prescriptions in compliance with regulations.
- Provide professional counseling to patients regarding medication usage and safety.
- Manage retail pharmacy operations, maintaining high standards of service quality.
- Respond efficiently to emergency orders on Sundays as needed.
Qualifications:
- Illinois Pharmacy License is required.
- PharmD degree preferred.
- Experience with PioneerRx pharmacy system is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with pharmacy team members.
