What We’re Looking For:
- Demonstrated expertise in Social Studies, with proven instructional skills and command of relevant curriculum materials
- Experience teaching in urban school environments
- Strong classroom and behavioral management abilities
- Bachelor’s degree required (for emergency teaching permit eligibility)
- Active teaching certification or current licensure specific to this caseload
- Previous experience in a school setting
- Capability to develop lesson plans aligning with state and district standards, utilizing formative assessment and differentiation
- Ability to complete all required Pennsylvania clearances
- Reliable transportation to ensure consistent onsite presence
- Flexibility and comfort working within district policies and at the specified location
- Availability to commit to a 35-hour weekly schedule without modifications
- Prepared to engage in a virtual interview process
