What We’re Looking For:

• Demonstrated expertise in Social Studies, with proven instructional skills and command of relevant curriculum materials
• Experience teaching in urban school environments
• Strong classroom and behavioral management abilities
• Bachelor’s degree required (for emergency teaching permit eligibility)
• Active teaching certification or current licensure specific to this caseload
• Previous experience in a school setting
• Capability to develop lesson plans aligning with state and district standards, utilizing formative assessment and differentiation
• Ability to complete all required Pennsylvania clearances
• Reliable transportation to ensure consistent onsite presence
• Flexibility and comfort working within district policies and at the specified location
• Availability to commit to a 35-hour weekly schedule without modifications
• Prepared to engage in a virtual interview process
