Travel Requirements for Service HVAC Technicians
HVAC Service Technicians are expected to primarily support customers and service operations within their assigned state. However, technicians should remain flexible and willing to travel to neighboring states and surrounding service areas as business needs require. This includes Virginia-based technicians supporting service work in North Carolina and North Carolina-based technicians supporting service work in Virginia. Regional travel may be required to respond to service calls, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, complete repairs, support emergency service requests, and ensure timely customer support across the market.
• Project Technician Requests:
Travel Requirements for Project Technicians:
All Project Technician team members should be open to regional travel within their respective states and markets, with the flexibility to support neighboring areas as business needs require. This includes Virginia-based teams supporting projects in North Carolina and North Carolina-based teams supporting projects in Virginia.
Vehicle, Fuel, and Tools
The company provides all Service Technicians and Project Technicians with a company vehicle and fuel card for authorized business-related travel and work activities. Team members are responsible for maintaining a valid driver's license and operating company vehicles in accordance with company policies and safe driving practices.
Technicians are expected to provide and maintain their own standard hand tools required to perform their job duties. The company will provide specialized equipment, diagnostic instruments, and any job-specific tools or equipment necessary to safely and effectively complete assigned work.
