An urgent opening is available for a Clinical IV Pharmacist in Jonesboro, AR, offering a 3 to 6-month contract to hire opportunity. This role requires a professional with expertise in sterile compounding and strong clinical pharmacy skills, especially in IV medication management.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Every third weekend
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify intravenous (IV) medication orders to ensure accuracy and patient safety
- Prepare and mix IV medications in the clean room following sterile compounding protocols
- Perform clinical duties that include interpreting lab results and monitoring patient responses
- Provide flexible support across various pharmacy functions as needed
Qualifications and Experience:
- At least 1 year of recent experience as an IV pharmacist
- Active and clear Arkansas pharmacist license
- Successfully pass a background check and drug screening
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret laboratory results effectively
- Adaptable and willing to assist in various clinical pharmacy tasks
