We are seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to support students across two school sites in Grand Haven, MI The primary focus of this position will be conducting student evaluations and re-evaluations while collaborating with school teams to help identify student needs and support educational success.
School Sites: 2 – 1 Elementary School & 1 Intermediate School
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations
- Complete assessments to help determine students' educational needs and eligibility for special education services
- Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations based on student needs
- Prepare evaluation reports and maintain accurate student records
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and eligibility determination meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families
- Provide consultation and support to school staff regarding student academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Assist with the development and review of appropriate educational recommendations and interventions
- Ensure evaluations and documentation are completed accurately and within required timelines
- Support students across one elementary and one intermediate school
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist credential
- Experience conducting school-based evaluations and re-evaluations
- Strong assessment, report-writing, and consultation skills
- Knowledge of special education eligibility requirements and evaluation procedures
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage responsibilities across two school sites
