This travel role is designed for experienced Registered Nurses passionate about Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures. Responsibilities:
- Circulate and scrub for complex cardiovascular surgeries in the operating room
- Collaborate closely with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Monitor patient status and provide interventions as required pre-, intra-, and post-operatively
- Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to facility protocols
- Assist with advanced surgical equipment and support CVOR procedures as needed
Qualifications:
- Current RN license (IL or compact eligible)
- Minimum of 2 years of recent CVOR nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and adaptability skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environments
