Working with a collaborative school district, you’ll have the chance to support K-12 learners across two sites, ensuring a rewarding and varied caseload. This contract position is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about empowering children and committed to fostering communication skills in a school-based setting.
Qualifications:
- Current California Speech-Language Pathologist license (CA SLP License)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in schools is a plus, though not required—dedicated and motivated entry-level clinicians and Clinical Fellows (SLP-CFYs) are encouraged to apply
- Interest in teletherapy or pediatric healthcare settings beneficial
- Genuine passion for supporting students’ growth and educational success
Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to K-12 students
- Assess, diagnose, and treat a broad range of communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals for holistic student care
- Develop and maintain individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Utilize teletherapy platforms as needed and contribute to a flexible, modern delivery of services
