Mid - Level Associate Attorney - Insurance Coverage 

I'm partnering with a highly respected Seattle litigation boutique that is looking to add a Mid-Level Litigation Associate to its team. The firm handles a sophisticated mix of matters, including insurance coverage disputes, business and commercial litigation, high-exposure personal injury cases, and trusts and estates litigation. Attorneys receive significant client contact, substantive case ownership, and direct mentorship from experienced litigators.

What You'll Do

• Manage civil litigation matters through all stages of the case lifecycle
• Draft motions, briefs, memoranda, pleadings, and other litigation documents
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
• Handle discovery, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and experts
• Collaborate closely with partners on complex and high-profile matters

Qualifications

• 4+ years of civil litigation experience in Washington
• Insurance coverage experience strongly preferred
• Strong academic credentials
• Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities
• Desire to take on increasing responsibility and sophisticated litigation work

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $142,000 - $225,000, depending on experience
• Performance bonuses:
  • $10,000 at 1,600 billable hours
  • $20,000 at 1,700 billable hours
  • $35,000 at 1,800 billable hours
