Job Title: Electrical TechnicianJob DescriptionThis role offers an opportunity for an Electrical Technician at a mid to entry level to perform electrical troubleshooting and repair within a manufacturing environment. You support senior technicians, learn client-specific systems and equipment, and progress to leading your own service team with a helper. The position focuses on diagnosing and repairing electrical issues using blueprints and schematics while maintaining a strong safety and driving record.
Responsibilities- Perform electrical troubleshooting and repair on equipment and systems in a manufacturing plant setting.
- Support main technicians as a helper while learning client-specific equipment, procedures, and service standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to identify issues and execute repairs accurately.
- Complete wiring tasks, including installation, modification, and replacement of electrical components as needed.
- Use appropriate tools and testing equipment to diagnose electrical faults and ensure proper system operation.
- Follow established safety procedures and best practices when working with electrical systems and in plant environments.
- Provide service work at various locations within the facility, responding to electrical issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize work orders and ensure timely completion of service requests.
- Maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) to safely travel to and from work sites when required.
- Adapt to varying work conditions in areas that may not always be climate controlled and remain focused on quality and safety.
- Work Monday through Friday with flexibility to stay late when needed to complete critical service tasks.
Essential Skills- Practical electrical knowledge and hands-on experience with troubleshooting and repair.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics accurately.
- Basic skills in wiring and working with electrical components in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with electrical troubleshooting methods and use of diagnostic tools.
- Capability to follow instructions from senior technicians and transition to working independently over time.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Willingness and ability to work Monday through Friday and stay late when needed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Exposure to manufacturing plant or industrial service work environments.
- Experience working as a helper or assistant to more senior technicians.
- Understanding of blueprints and schematics beyond basic level is a plus.
- No electrician license is required, but any formal electrical training or coursework is beneficial.
- Ability to transfer skills across multiple locations as opportunities arise.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
