What you’ll bring:
- COTA certification with active credentials
- Strong understanding of pediatric and school-based occupational therapy
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting, ideally at the high school level
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff
- Motivation to contribute to a progressive and collaborative educational team
Key responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy support services to high school students under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Document and report on student progress and outcomes
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student engagement and success
- Foster an inclusive, encouraging environment for all learners
- Maintain compliance with all school policies and regulations
