Job description
Machine Operators are responsible for the packaging, labeling, and visual quality inspection of all products produced on their production line. Machine Operators will also handle line start-ups, shutdowns, and changeovers. Previous experience of machine operation or packaging is helpful.
Requirements:
Must have excellent attendance and work records
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Manufacturing experience a plus
Capable of multitasking
Willingness to work overtime when necessary or required
Must have mechanical skills to troubleshoot and or make adjustments as necessary
Work Pace: Fast- Must maintain pace with the lines; consistent pace is necessary
Essential Tasks and Responsibilities
Promotes and incorporates food safety and personal safety
Maintains high level of quality control
Counting and packaging finished products
Ensure quality standards, specifications and policies are met or exceeded
Preventing contamination
Cleaning work area including equipment
Complete all projects and duties as assigned
Monitor packaging machine during the process in order to identify and correct malfunctions
Meet or exceed efficiencies while communicating inefficiencies
Regulate machine flow and speed
Consistently able to changeover between lines in allowed standard times (sanitation and changeover)
Utilize ERP system to complete jobs
Take lead and provide direction to team while producing, changing over and cleaning.

First Shift Monday - Thursday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm
