Robert Half is seeking an Operations Systems Analyst for a long-term contract opportunity with a large consulting firm. This role is a unique blend of operations, technology, and business analysis, supporting the implementation of the Helm CONNECT Personnel/Crewing module.
Location: Seattle, WA (4–5 days onsite)
Duration: Contract through June 2027
Pay: Market Rate, (Approximately $50-$65/hourly)
Job Duties:
- Support the implementation, configuration, and ongoing administration of the Helm CONNECT Personnel/Crewing module.
- Learn and support the organization's current crewing process, which is highly manual and heavily reliant on Excel.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Crewing Operations, Dispatch, Operations, and IT.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and operational workflows.
- Configure system functionality to align with business processes and operational needs.
- Ensure the system reflects real-world crewing, scheduling, and vessel operations.
- Participate in system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), issue resolution, and end-user support.
- Document current and future-state processes while identifying opportunities for operational improvements.
- Build strong relationships with office personnel, vessel crews, and technical teams throughout the implementation.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in maritime operations, crewing, dispatch, vessel scheduling, or workforce scheduling.
- Experience working between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Strong business process analysis and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced operational environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Helm CONNECT, particularly the Personnel/Crewing module.
- Experience implementing or configuring enterprise business systems.
- Systems administration or systems configuration experience.
- Experience supporting software implementations, testing, and user adoption initiatives.
