What you’ll need:
- Active RN license (Illinois or compact state)
- Minimum of 2 years’ recent CVOR experience
- Proficiency with surgical cardiac care, sterile technique, and latest OR protocols
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities

Primary responsibilities:
- Circulate and/or scrub for CVOR procedures, including cardiac and thoracic surgeries
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs for optimal patient outcomes
- Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical field
- Monitor and assess patients’ conditions intra-operatively
- Uphold strict safety and infection control guidelines
- Document nursing care and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives
