Wireless Device Test Engineer (Contract)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Wireless Device Test Engineer with expertise in wireless device testing, certification, and troubleshooting across lab and field environments. This role requires strong technical knowledge of wireless technologies, device logging tools, and the ability to effectively communicate findings to OEMs and chipset manufacturers.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of wireless device testing and certification experience in both lab and field environments.
• Strong understanding of wireless technologies, including:
• 4G LTE
• 5G (SA, NSA, mmWave)
• VoLTE
• VoWiFi
• RCS, SMS, and MMS network architecture and protocols
• Strong understanding of call flows across RRC and NAS protocols.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience testing iOS and Android devices, including log collection and log triage.
• 2+ years of experience with device logging and diagnostic tools such as XCAP, XCAL, QXDM, or similar.
• 2+ years of experience with data analytics or visualization tools such as Tableau, Databricks, or other cloud-based analytics platforms.
• Ability to analyze device issues from lab and field testing and clearly communicate findings to OEMs and chipset manufacturers.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferred.
