Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a Paraprofessional, ideally within school settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to work under teacher guidance and follow classroom plans
- Patience, flexibility, and a nurturing approach to diverse learning needs
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional coursework or credentials preferred)
- Willingness to complete background and reference checks per district requirements
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing direct support to students individually and in small groups
- Assisting teachers with classroom management and instructional activities
- Helping implement individualized education programs (IEPs) as directed
- Supporting students with special needs or behavioral challenges
- Aiding in classroom organization and preparation of educational materials
- Supervising students in classrooms and during transitions or break periods
