Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology in Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows will also be considered
- Previous experience working with school-aged children is highly desirable
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver evidence-based therapy to students with communication disorders
- Consult with teachers and families to support students’ academic and social growth
- Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of evaluations, progress, and goals in accordance with district and state requirements
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and team conferences
- Stay updated on best practices and professional developments within the field
