Desired Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist certification (or eligibility for state credential)
• Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a closely related field

• Strong knowledge of psychological assessments, behavioral interventions, and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Effective communication skills with students, staff, and families
• Compassionate, ethical, and culturally competent approach to student support

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify students’ academic and behavioral needs
• Create and implement intervention and support plans tailored to individual students
• Advise teachers, administrators, and families on strategies to promote student success
• Collaborate in the development and review of IEPs and Section 504 plans
• Provide individual and group counseling to address emotional or social challenges
• Support crisis intervention, prevention, and response within the school community
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings, professional development, and school improvement initiatives
