Pay: $22/hour
Schedule: 36–48 hours/week. Must be flexible for 8 or 12-hour rotating shifts (days, nights, weekends) and overtime.
Key QualificationsEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Light manufacturing experience preferred; basic computer skills required.
Skills: Mechanical aptitude, strong troubleshooting, and effective communication.
Safety & Tools: Knowledge of OSHA/environmental regulations, ability to handle hazardous materials, and a valid forklift license (or ability to get one).
Operations: Run and troubleshoot industrial equipment (mixers, extruders, kilns, dryers, mills); perform minor repairs.
Quality & Data: Conduct quality checks, collect samples, and maintain accurate production logs.
Safety & Compliance: Adhere to PPE, lockout/tagout, ISO standards (9001/14001), and TQM principles; participate in safety audits (SMATs).
Plant Upkeep: Safely operate forklifts, maintain a clean work area, and handle waste disposal.
Setting: Indoor manufacturing facility; subject to dust and seasonal temperature changes.
Physical Tasks: Frequent standing/walking, climbing ladders/stairs at heights, and lifting/moving up to 55 lbs.
