The Radchenko Law Group, PLLC, 5800 Tennyson Parkway, Suite 675, Plano, TX 75024
Full-time, In-office, Compensation commensurate with experience
The short versionWe are looking for a lawyer who wants to try cases.
Not someone who wants to paper a file for two years and settle on the courthouse steps. Someone who wants to stand up, examine a witness, get the ruling, and get better every time. If that is you, we will put you in the courtroom and teach you how to win there.
About the firmWe are a Texas family law firm serving Collin, Denton, Dallas, and Tarrant Counties. Clients come to us in the hardest season of their lives — divorces, custody fights, protective orders — and they need someone who can actually handle a contested hearing, not just draft around one.
We are small enough that your work matters immediately and lean enough that there is nowhere to hide. That is the trade: real responsibility, real feedback, real time on your feet.
What you'll doCarry your own docket of divorce, SAPCR, custody, modification, and enforcement matters
Handle temporary orders hearings, mediations, and contested final trials
Take and defend depositions; draft and argue discovery motions
Draft pleadings, decrees, and orders that hold up when opposing counsel reads them closely
Work directly with clients — set expectations, deliver hard news, keep them steady
Second-chair complex trials until you're ready to first-chair them, then first-chair them
Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas (or eligible for admission before your start date)
Trial ambition above all. We are open to years of experience. We will consider a strong newer lawyer with real hearing time and a senior associate ready to run a trial docket. What we will not compromise on is the desire to be a trial attorney
A hard worker who wants to be taught. You take the note, you fix it, you don't need it twice.
Sound judgment under pressure and genuine care for clients in crisis
Strong writing — clear, tight, persuasive
Organized enough to run a docket without dropping a deadline
Family law experience is a plus, but drive, work ethic, and courtroom instinct matter more
Real courtroom time, quickly — not after you've "paid your dues"
Direct mentorship from Halina Radchenko on trial strategy, cross-examination, and case theory
A voice in how cases are staffed and tried
Modern practice infrastructure so you spend your hours on lawyering, not administration
Compensation commensurate with experience, plus benefits and performance bonus
A firm that will grow with you — this role is built to become a senior trial position
