Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) settings
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for acutely ill patients
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized nursing care to patients requiring intermediate/stepdown monitoring
- Recognize and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients and families on care plans and ongoing needs
