Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher license in Minnesota (MN)
• Experience working in resource settings with middle and/or high school students
• Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and progress monitoring
• Collaborative approach with ability to work closely with teachers, families, and support staff
• Adaptable, proactive, and committed to fostering inclusive classrooms
• Previous contract or travel teaching experience a plus, though not required

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized academic strategies tailored to each student’s needs
• Manage a diverse caseload within the middle and high school resource environment
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to modify curriculum and provide support
• Deliver direct instruction, monitor progress, and document student achievements aligned with IEP goals
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and needs
• Uphold compliance with state and federal special education regulations
