Accounts Payable SupervisorTake the lead in driving efficient, accurate accounts payable operations for a growing multi-location organization. We're seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee AP processes, develop staff, strengthen internal controls, and ensure timely financial reporting across multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise day-to-day accounts payable operations across multiple locations
- Partner with procurement and operations teams to resolve invoice and payment discrepancies
- Manage AP staff, providing coaching, training, and performance support
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and reporting requirements
- Oversee monthly reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end close activities
- Improve AP workflows, policies, and electronic payment processes
- Maintain strong internal controls and financial accuracy
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Prior leadership experience supervising and developing accounting staff
- Strong knowledge of AP processes, general ledger functions, and financial close procedures
- Experience implementing accounting software or process improvements
- Advanced accounting systems and spreadsheet skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
