Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students with a range of physical therapy needs in a vibrant educational setting. This part-time, itinerant role provides services across several sites close to Red Rock, AZ. You’ll enjoy flexible scheduling, working just two days each week and serving students with mild to severe needs throughout the Extended School Year (FSY).
Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Physical Therapy license for the state
- IVP Fingerprint Card (required prior to start)
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric physical therapy settings preferred
- Comfort adapting interventions for a wide range of abilities and needs
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to travel between sites as needed
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct physical therapy services to students per their IEPs and prescribed plans
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
- Conduct assessments and evaluations, documenting findings and progress
- Develop, implement, and update individualized therapy plans for each student
- Provide training and resources to staff and caregivers regarding interventions, equipment, or accommodations
- Flexibly adapt to changing caseloads or locations within the assigned group of schools
