Exciting opportunities are available for talented Occupational Therapists interested in providing exceptional care and support to students in a dynamic school setting near Renton, WA. This contract position is ideal for professionals passionate about making a difference in the lives of children from elementary to middle school. Multiple positions are open, including full-time and part-time options, allowing you to tailor your schedule to your needs. With approximately 36 students on your caseload, you’ll play a vital role in fostering student growth and independence.
Openings include:
- Full-time Occupational Therapist: August 28–December 18
- Part-time Occupational Therapist (0.6 FTE): October 10–March 1
- Part-time Occupational Therapist: August 27–January 2
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Occupational Therapist license in Washington State
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of an educational team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students to determine eligibility and needs for OT services
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Partner with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student progress
- Document and report on student outcomes in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Provide therapy primarily to elementary students, with some middle school support
