Key Qualifications:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential
- Experience working with students with disabilities and implementing behavior intervention plans
- Strong knowledge of Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) principles and practices
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, students, and families
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and gather data to inform individualized behavior programs
- Develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans focused on supporting students within the LRE
- Train and support staff in evidence-based behavior management strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure consistency of interventions across environments
- Regularly evaluate student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
- Maintain detailed records in accordance with district and regulatory standards
