As a School Psychologist, your responsibilities will include working with various grade levels, serving a dynamic caseload, and collaborating with educators and families to create positive learning experiences. You will be primarily situated at Cotton Creek Elementary, focused on preschool assessments and interventions. Flexibility for some virtual work is available if needed.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid PEL (Professional Educator License) with a School Psychologist Endorsement.
- Meet all state and district-specific requirements for school psychology practice.
- Experience in school-based psychological assessment, individualized education plans (IEP), and crisis intervention preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work with diverse student populations and grade levels.
- Skilled in providing both direct and consultative services to students, teachers, and families.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and support the academic, social, and emotional needs of students in assigned grade levels.
- Conduct formal evaluations, participate in IEP meetings, and recommend evidence-based interventions.
- Serve one or more schools, with a primary focus on preschool populations.
- Develop comprehensive evaluations and support teams to promote student well-being and academic success.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams and provide consultation as needed.
