Step into a rewarding role supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based setting. This position offers the chance to make a direct impact through in-person services for approximately 50 students across two engaging elementary campuses. It’s a full-time contract opportunity with a consistent schedule—plan to work 7 to 8 hours per day, four to five days each week.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience delivering SLP services in school environments
- Competency in working with children at the elementary level
- Familiarity with school-based documentation and IEP processes
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Teletherapy experience is valued, though this position is exclusively in-person
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to a caseload of about 50 elementary students
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate, timely records and contribute to multi-disciplinary team meetings
- Serve two elementary school sites, ensuring consistent services and support
