A retail/outpatient pharmacy near a medical facility in Bridgeport, West Virginia, is seeking an experienced pharmacist for a full-time, temp-to-perm role. This position offers the opportunity to deliver quality medication management and patient care in a community-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
- Verify prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, and safety
- Counsel patients on proper medication use and potential side effects
- Support daily retail and outpatient pharmacy operations
- Maintain adherence to pharmacy regulations and compliance standards
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications:
- Active pharmacist license in good standing for West Virginia
- Experience in retail or outpatient pharmacy settings preferred
- Excellent communication skills and strong patient-care orientation
- Commitment to long-term, permanent employment
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Location:
- Bridgeport, West Virginia (approximately 1 hour from the pharmacy location)
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
