Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid Virginia School Psychologist license required
- Previous experience working with school-aged children in K-12 (preferred)
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Capacity to adapt to hybrid or in-person service delivery as needed
- Strong organizational abilities to manage assessments, interventions, and meetings
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and interpreting results for K-12 students
- Providing direct counseling and support services to students as needed
- Collaborating effectively with educators, parents, and related service providers
- Assisting with the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Participating in problem-solving teams and contributing to school-wide initiatives
- Maintaining thorough documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
