A Per Diem Pharmacy Technician position is available to support pharmacy operations in Port Arthur, TX. This role involves accurately distributing medications prescribed by healthcare providers and delivering high-quality customer service to patients and clients. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Texas Pharmacy Technician license and have experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy settings.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (8.5 hours per day, total 42.5 hours for the scheduled week)
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispensing medications as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare practitioners
- Providing clear and helpful information to customers regarding medication use and safety
- Ensuring superior customer service while maintaining compliance with pharmacy protocols and regulations
Qualifications:
- Current Pharmacy Technician license for the state of Texas (required)
- Experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy environments is highly preferred
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
