Tree Climber Crew Lead

Responsibilities
- Lead tree removal, pruning, and trimming projects while ensuring safe and efficient work practices.
- Climb trees and safely operate a 72' track lift and other aerial equipment to complete tree care services.
- Perform rigging, tree removals, stump grinding, chainsaw work, woodchipper operation, and other tree care tasks.
- Direct and supervise crew members, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards.
- Conduct equipment inspections, maintain tools, and follow all safety regulations and company procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in tree removal, tree pruning, and climbing/lift operation.
- Valid driver's license with experience operating large trucks and trailers.
- Proficiency in tree climbing, aerial lift operation, proper pruning techniques, rigging, knot tying, chainsaw use, and tree care equipment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage crews and maintain a safe job site.
- ISA Certified Arborist, Class A CDL, mechanical aptitude, or general foreman/project management experience are highly preferred.
