We're partnering with a busy, well-established automotive repair facility seeking an experienced Auto Technician to join their team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity designed for skilled technicians who want to demonstrate their abilities and transition into a long-term career with a company that values quality work, professional growth, and high earning potential.

During the initial contract period, you'll receive a competitive hourly wage. Upon successful hire-on, technicians transition to a flat-rate compensation structure with the opportunity to significantly increase earnings based on productivity and experience.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide variety of vehicles
• Rebuild and repair engines and transmissions
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems and wiring issues
• Service and repair automotive HVAC and A/C systems
• Perform brake, suspension, steering, and drivability repairs
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and technical resources to identify vehicle issues
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

What We're Looking For

• Strong full-service automotive technician experience
• Ability to perform major mechanical repairs, including engine and transmission work
• Experience diagnosing and repairing electrical systems
• Knowledge of automotive HVAC and A/C repair
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Stable work history with demonstrated reliability and longevity
• Must provide your own professional-grade tools
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Compensation & Benefits

During Contract Period

• $35.00 - $45.00/hour DOE
• Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week
• Busy shop environment with the opportunity to work additional hours

Upon Direct Hire

Requirements

• Must pass a criminal background check
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen (THC excluded from testing)
