Make a meaningful impact supporting students in the San Juan Capistrano area as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Multiple long-term leave of absence positions are available, working with preschool, elementary, or middle school-aged students in a collaborative and resource-rich environment. This is a full-time, on-site contract opportunity for motivated SLPs who thrive in a school setting and are passionate about helping students succeed.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language services to a caseload of approximately 55 students per SLP
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), and track student progress
- Collaborate closely with special education teams, teachers, and families to ensure student growth
- Deliver targeted intervention and support in both group and individual settings
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with school and state requirements
- Communicate effectively with school staff and parents to support student success
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active California SLP license required
- Previous experience working in schools or with school-aged populations valued
- Strong commitment to collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to work on-site, engaging directly with students and staff
These contracts begin as early as September and have a high likelihood of extending through the full academic year.
