In this onsite role, you will play a vital part in promoting the well-being and academic success of students, working collaboratively within the school setting. This assignment runs from October 21, 2026, through January 21, 2027, with a steady schedule of 35 hours per week.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Social Worker license with a School Social Worker endorsement (#071) required
- Prior experience supporting students in a school setting strongly preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and faculty
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Capable of managing confidential and sensitive situations with professionalism
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with students to provide social, emotional, and behavioral support
- Develop and implement appropriate interventions and services in collaboration with educators and families
- Participate in student support plans and multi-disciplinary meetings as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation per school and regulatory standards
- Act as a resource and advocate for students and families navigating school and community resources
