The Back-of-House Shift Manager is responsible for leading team members in delivering fast, accurate service to guests while maintaining food safety and quality standards. This role is offered as a part-time position; however, full-time hours are possible depending on the business needs. You must have open availability. This means the ability to work mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Availability for Fridays, Saturdays, and holidays is required.

Applicants must be able to:
- Successfully run shifts to ensure fast, accurate food is served to standard
- Report for shifts on time
- Operate with a sense of urgency
- Motivate team members
- Communicate clearly in English, bilingual is a plus
- Assist in training new hires, set the tone for the shift, and act as a role model for the team
- Complete all computer-based and hands-on training
- Exhibit mastery of all Back of House positions
- Run Breaks and ensure smooth operations
- Adapt to change and resolve problems without disrupting the business
- Adhere to and enforce all restaurant policies
- Adhere to and enforce food safety and quality standards
- Adhere to and enforce restaurant food preparation standards
- Assist with ensuring low food and labor costs
- Ensure waste and shared table donations are recorded
- Assist with managing inventory
- Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- 1-3 years of leadership or management experience
- Experience in restaurant operations is preferred but not required. Prior Chick-fil-A experience is a plus.
- ServSafe certification preferred but not required
- Strong work ethic

- Able to work independently and in a team environment
- Be able to work a flexible schedule
- Have the ability to stand for at least 8 hours
- Be able to perform functions that require bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing, and stocking up to 40 lbs.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Reliable transportation to meet opening and closing shifts as needed
- Be available to work on weekends and holidays
